I work nights! it does me no good at all to have reminders to move during the day.... very disappointed if it's not resolved I may return... one of the main reasons I wanted it was so it could give me a kick in the pants to move so to speak.... when I try to flip the time around 9p to 6a it turns red and tells me to choose between 5-14 hours and wont let me push ok

It's not possible to get round this problem at the moment. There is a popular feature suggestion to make it allow for night shift workers and if you'd like to add your vote you can find it here:

https://community.fitbit.com/t5/Feature-Suggestions/Allow-night-shift-reminders-to-move/idi-p/130643...

Note though the comment from fitbit that they don't currently have plans to make this change. If this is a show stopper for you then perhaps returning it is your best option.
