Why aren’t my hourly steps registering on my app online my Fitbit itself?

I don't have an answer, but have no idea what is meant by "on my app online my Fitbit itself".

Before posting, re-read to see if it would make sense to someone else not looking at your Fitbit or phone.

Hi @sharonaf  - have you tried to logout of the app and restart both watch and phone?
