Before going into detail, my Apple desktop computer is version 10.11.6. Would that be the reason my iPad doesn't list any networks to choose from? Not sure why my desktop would be the problem, if the communication is between the watch & my ipad. I have the Fitbit app on my iPad, but the versa 2 message is: To Start, download the Fitbit app.

Before considering other options, if you're having trouble specifically to connect your watch to the WI-FI network, I recommend that you follow all the steps listed in this article: Why won't my Fitbit watch connect to Wi-Fi?
I've also noticed that you've got in touch with the Customer Support team about this and that they've been providing you with assistance.
