I just got my versa 2 today and it will not sync to my app.

Hello there @bnessai, welcome to the Community Forums. Thanks for the details provided in your post, I'll be glad to help you with your Versa 2 that is not pairing to your Fitbit app.
I've seen that you contacted our Support Team after posting here. I'd suggest to get back to them so they continue assisting you with this regards to this.
However, while reading your post I was wondering if by any chance you're using another phone at the same you're using your main phone to set up your Versa 2? Do you have more Fitbit devices paired to your Fitbit account and phone's Bluetooth settings? If so, I'd suggest to try the following:
1. Remove the old device(s) from the Bluetooth settings (in case you have more Fitbit devices that are no longer in use).
2. Restart your Versa 2.
3. Turn off other Bluetooth connections when not in use.
4. Plug it into the charging cable and open the Fitbit app.
5. Setup your Versa 2.
