Hi all, I need help as my new fitbit versa is not tracking my exercise automatically. I have tried reboot the watch, unpair bluetooth and paired again, uninstall and reinstalled the app, everything I can but it just not working. The dashboard does shown the total of steps this morning just nothing under the track exercise.

I got it to track my workouts again by restarting my Fitbit three times. Maybe that will work?

Hello, I have followed these steps as I have had this issue with no resolution. O just received my Fitbit Versa 2 for Christmas and this issue has occurred.

I have been having the same issue with my Versa 2. For some reason, I am exercising and it stops tracking heart rate. I'm in the 170-180's according to the equipment i'm on. But the fitbit records in the 70's and stays frozen. I can reboot the fitbit and it starts working again. But I lose a huge majority of my exercise log. When I try and go in later to add a gist of what I had done, it then zero's out my active minutes and heart rate information in the app and online dashboard.

What if it’s not in the log on the website as your asking? What does that mean?

It means it hasn't synced to the server and it is not an app problem.

Yes I’ve got same issue. I’ve done all the reset and syncing steps and nothing. Contacted Fitbit Twitter support and sent screenshots and they said this not tremendously helpful reply:

I have just purchased a Versa 3 and have exactly the same problem. I bought this for this feature which does not work. I have checked and all settings are set to automatically detect but went on a hour long walk this morning and no luck again.

a little annoyed as this is happening to me right now. It was always tracking it and as of last week it stopped automatically tracking. I now have to track manually. Very annoying as this is such a greeeeat perk. It’s not logging my activity as except use in my 5 day goal. This is my bible. I’d like to fix this.
