My step goals keep reverting back to 5000 when I’m trying to change to 10000

Every time I change my step goal it reverts back. I’ve tried everything including changing the step and distance goals too. I’m using the app to do this as the web dashboard is more confusing.

The fact that your step goal isn't saving has nothing to do with your device, so we need to move your post to the appropriate forum. Which OS do you have?

 

It has everything to do with your OS because your device is tied to your account, which is on your app. Your watch is dependent on that for the Step Goal.
