My steps cleared or restarted yesterday. I got to my daily goal 12,000. The fit bit did the goal reached Celebration thing,  but later in the day showed I was only at 4,000. I took a walk yesterday that shows I took over 9k steps with that alone, which is still in the history. I don't remember touching anything or resetting anything. I have a Versa 2 and a Galaxy S20 5G

Thank you for the information provided.

 

Whether you have a third party app connected to your Fitbit account, please make sure the activities recorded on their side don't get overlapped and overwrite the exercises recorded by your Fitbit Versa 2.

 

In addition, I would recommend checking if the information shown in your Fitbit app is the same as the online Dashboard > Log > Activities.
