I charged my versa up yesterday, up to last night it was working fine. I woke up this morning and nothing is working the screen is blank it won’t sync, nothing works????

I’m so relieved to hear this happened to someone else! This has honestly happened to my device four or five times now; I don’t know how to fix it, it just eventually comes back. Hearing that it happened to somebody else at the same time as me makes me wonder if there was a firmware update that went wrong? Something hasn’t finished installing? Keep an eye on it, try plugging it in; if it’s like previous times it’ll eventually turn back on (usually within a day). Sorry I don’t have better insight 😕

Mine died last night too! So glad it’s not just mine! Last time it happened someone on here told me how to do a forced restart? Not sure if that’s what is actually called and I don’t remember how to do it either. Hopefully someone will see our posts and help us all out!😊

Mine did Thursday, called Fitbit since I’m out of the warranty, I have to buy a new one. They won’t fix it. They will send a 35% off coupon and if you get another versa 2 it’s $116. This is ridiculous

I do honestly believe it was a firmware update gone wrong. Mine eventually came back after plugging it in - the whole battery drained overnight (it was at 86% when I went to bed…) Try plugging it in and walk away for 20 mins, it worked for me. In the past when the screen goes black I still got vibration and haptic responses but this time it was just dead as a door nail. If it doesn’t come back on after plugging it in you may have to contact support 😞

Mine has not come back yet. I contacted Fitbit because I’ve had my 2 years I’m out of the warranty and they sent a 35% off coupon to buy a new one. They will not fix or update the watch. Which is ridiculous because why would I buy the same watch again so I was looking at a newer one but it’s still well over 200 for the Sense and upper 100s for the versa 3. I’m livid this is all they will do.

Hi. I changed my password and my Fitbit started back up. No idea if that was the fix or just a coincidence. Working fine now. It was strange.

Mine has done this too about the same time. It is responding with vibration only but screen remains black. I’ve charged it fully overnight twice since but still nothing on screen. Any further suggestions from anyone with success in fixing this?? Thanks

This just happened to me too. Last night the watch was low batt but it still lighted up. This morning it was just black, initially I assumed the battery was dead but nothing light up after its plugged in to charge. Even after charging the whole day, its still a black screen. The app says its fully charged and i still get steps recorded, plus the heart rate monitoring light is still blinking underneath the watch.

They told me my battery was dead and I would have to buy a new one. Guess they only have a two-year lifespan.

This is what mine is doing as well. This does sound like a bad update issue. Since mine is still recording data, I’m going to keep wearing it

In the exact same position. Called for over a week and finally they answered today and tried all the things I had already done. Then said they would forward warranty info and not covered. I have worn a Fitbit - 4 different versions but this will be my last. Looking for a different replacement - anyone have a suggestion?
Very disappointed in quality and service this time around!!! A $250 watch should last longer than a year or 2.

Yea I hate that. It’s cheaper in local stores and Amazon but you have you use the coupon on their website, which is a joke. They need to have digital vendor coupons where people can buy it where they want. I’m still deciding if I want to go apple or buy my third Fitbit. I’m calling them again tomorrow. 35% is not enough when places have their watch cheaper. But want apple prices. Highly disappointed in Fitbit.
