My versa is only showing the startup screen

I have synced my versa with my phone and the screen is just saying the same thing it has always said "download the fitbit app to get started" in a bunch of different languages. I have tryed to update my versa and I have 6 times and that won't  work. Please help I need to get this working

I got my new versa and got it up and running I thought... the screen is just on the startup screen and the only thing I can think to do is update it. I have donloaded about 6 updates and it still said to update it so I don't know what will work please help me.
