Hi @MargotB there is a banner at the top of the forums: "We are aware of an issue which may be impacting Android notifications and syncing. Our team is currently investigating and working on a fix. Read More"

The best answer selected for that thread was from a moderator who mentioned the new update app. You must have the latest app, but these apps are rolled out and not everyone got them on the day it was released.
