My verse will not sync with Samsung Galaxy s8

Hi, got my Fitbit 5 days ago and this is the second time it as stopped syncing with my phone (galaxy s8).  I have restarted my phone,  forced stopped the app,  uninstalled and reinstalled the app a bunch of times.  I am looking for more suggestions.   I am getting frustrated and I am very unhappy with this product.   This is my first fitbit so I am not having a good first impression.

On my S8 these are the steps I have tried.

Restarting phone and tracker fail
Restarting App fail
Turning Bluetooth off/on fail
Log out/in on fitbit app faol
Clearing the Fitbit cache fail
Clearing all cache on the phone fail
Swiping all unneeded apps out of memory fail


Clear the Fitbit app data usually works, but not allways
Uninstalling/installing the Fitbit app seems to always work

 

Note my sister and two brothers with the same phone do not have issues, I'm on Sprint, they are not.
