Hey guys!
So I use MyFitnessPal to log my food and I connected it with my FitBit Versa 2. In MyFitnessPal there is a 'calories burned' number to calculate the total amount of calories you can consume (goal calories - consumed calories + burned calories by training = total amount of calories still left to consume).
However the calories burned in the MyFitnessPal app aren't the same as those burned according to my FitBit. I.e. I just went on a walk and logged this with my FitBit. FitBit tells me I've burned 311 calories on that walk. When I open MyFitnessPal it tells me I've burned 115 calories. When I close all the apps and reopen them and refresh the pages nothing changes. Anyone know if this is a bug or if I'm understanding something wrong?
Thanks!

@JannekeV Welcome to the Fitbit Community! I hope you're doing well!
Let me help you with your MFP calculated calories. MFP has a different way to calculate calories and it can differ from Fitbit's own algorithm. They do explain this in their help site here. Still if you have questions you can ask their Support team for clarification as the number you see is based on their own calculation.
Let me know how it goes.
