Everytime i turn the watch off and want to turn it on again no matter how long I hold the power on button the watch won't boot.
Holding the right down button and power for 10 seconds works
Why is the watch acting like this?

Never mind. My original idea turned out to be incorrect.

I know of a couple of people in your situation. But I don't think it's a reason for concern.
It's not really a "hard reset", just a restart, which is standard first step to resolve any situation.
Despite all the references I see to had and soft resets, etc, there are only 2 such Fitbit procedures: "restart" and "factory reset", and I believe other terminology often leads to confusion. "Restart" can be done anytime, fixes some problems, and does not have any adverse effects. "Factory reset", on the other hand, is a more extreme procedure that, in my opinion, is overused and can cause problems. At the best, it loses all the device settings. And I also see several posts of users doing a factory reset on their own, then the device not coming back at all.

Okay thank you for that clarification. I just noticed it and it seems a bit strange but otherwise the watch work :).
