Is the new AFib notification feature only available with a premium subscription? Or am I missing something. I updated the app, followed the instructions to set up AFib notifications but it seems the necessary tile isn't there to click because I'm not paying a fee. Nowhere in the promotions have I read that this new feature is behind a paywall. A potentially lifesaving feature, but only if you pay. I can buy an apple watch for the cost of a few years of premium.

New features roll out slowly, as you must have noticed before as a 9 year Fitbit user. Do you have any basis for your saying the tile isn't there because of not having Premium? I don't know why people always jump to the conclusion that new features must be behind a payroll just because they don't roll out to everyone instantly.

@DayZie Fitbit is very clear when a new feature, like the Daily Readiness Score or the Snore Detection is a Premium feature. There is nothing in the announcement in the The Keyword or Fitbit Help article to suggest that this is a Premium feature. It is coming to nine devices. Fitbit says it will take weeks to roll it out to all US users with compatible devices.

Yeah, I missed putting a question mark after my statement. I'm asking if that's why I can't see the feature, is it because I don't subscribe to premium. I came to that conclusion because when I follow the directions for activating the feature the only tile I can see prompts me to get premium.

Thank you. When I read the instructions for turning the feature on, I didn't see anything about it taking weeks to roll out. That was on the fitbit site, btw. It just said 'here's how you do it' and when I followed the instructions nothing was there other than a wellness report tile that prompted me to buy premium when I clicked it.

@DayZie I agree with you that the instructions are misleading. I haven’t received it, but if I get it before anyone else posts about it, I will tell users what to expect. For example, the Daily Readiness Score (Premium) just showed up as a new tile on my mobile app.
