New Fitbit App will not work on Surface Pro or Dell Desktop

I recently purchased a new Fitbit Versa 3. After several attempts, I was able to install the app on my iPhone 13. It seems to stop working every few days and I have to delete it and then reinstall.

I tried to download the app for the my Surface Pro and for my desktop. It says that I do not a compatible advice. I called Fitbit Help and was told that the new app is only compatible with iPads and with Apple desktops.

Does anyone know if this true? If so, I am very disappointed.

That's disappointing. I liked the graphics and expanded information that
the website had.

@SunsetRunner   Help gave you some incorrect information.  The Fitbit app is only compatible with Android and Apple phones/tablets.  The devices must run the minimum OS listed.  There used to be a Fitbit app for Windows 10, but it was deactivated almost two years ago.

I wish I had an answer for your iPhone issue.  I use an iPhone 13 and can't reproduce your problem.

I have a new iPhone 15. Bought it because my 13 wouldn’t support the app and I read that the 15 was necessary. I was able to load the app but it stops working after three or four days. I wish I know this before I bought the new Fitbit and upgraded my phone.
