New Versa 0% battery and not charging

I have had my Versa for 4 hours, it wont  charge, I get a battery pop up now and again with 0% on, I had a logo when I first plugged it in but that has gone now.

The Logo will only stay visible for a few seconds, have you disconnected the charger and reconnect?

Many times. The screen goes black then the logo appears again.

Then I would either take it back to the place of purchase and explain how it is defective. It should not be hard to show why. 

Or look in the top right of this page and click on the contact Fitbit link http://contact.fitbit.com/
