I went to a yoga class this morning. When I sat on my mat, waiting for class to start, I went to exercises and clicked Yoga. I was still sitting there, calmly waiting for class to start and peaked at my Fitbit and saw my heart rate continuously sour up to 144bpm. I wasn't doing anything just sitting there. I restarted and started it again to do the class. During my full class, there were points it was up to 133. This is an easy, beginners class where the most cardio was 3 or 4 planks to downward dogs.
Does the heartrate monitor need to be calibrated or something?

Any advice? Is my new Fitbit defective?

@eljae I don't think it's defective as short spikes in measurements are quite common. Your average is still pretty low and as to be expected from easy yoga. But, just in case, please go to Settings app on your Versa (swiping left), tap it and scroll down to heart rate. Please toggle it ON and OFF with a reboot of versa in between. You can reboot your tracker by pressing and holding the left and bottom right buttons until Fitbit logo flashes. Also, make sure you're not wearing Versa's band too tight.
