Have a new Versa 2 from Xmas. Started it up and got it connected to the app. Charged it for a bit. Came back to charger, it was in some sort of boot loop. Held button to reset. When it came back on, couldn't swipe screen. Reset, still not touch input. After a few minutes, checked on it again and it was in boot loop. Let battery drain all the way to zero. Plugged it in, and had a moment of touch input. Charged a bit more, and boot loop. Did the same again, and during that moment of touch functionality, I did factory reset. Removed from my account and from Bluetooth history. Reconnected it, and no touch input. But did update software, which seemed to work. But still no touch. It tracks steps and heart rate and syncs and wakes on tilt, but no touch response detected.
What to do...?

@themattjackson, it's great to see you in our Fitbit Community. I'm happy to assist you with your Versa 2 since the touch screen feature won't work properly. I appreciate the time spent trying the troubleshooting steps you mentioned above before contacting our forums.
Please try changing the clock face to one developed by Fitbit, not a third party clock face and see if the issue gets fixed.
Keep me posted on the outcome.

The clock face is the default for the Versa 2. Never changed it.
Let it die again, and still same issues today. Can't get to a point where I have enough time that touch works to do anything on the watch, and can't reload the Fitbit OS to try and resolve a software or firmware issue.

Now have the Data Not Cleared, Sync and Try Again message. Baby steps...?

Hey Fitbit, thanks for the email asking if the responses provided a resolution to my issue, though really they were my own responses. Obviously they didn't, but it's sweet of you to ask.

Didn't work, any other tips?
