New Versa 2 will not update firmware

I just bought a new Versa 2 and it will not update so I can get the SpO2 feature or clock. My old Versa 2 had that feature. My current firmware version is 35.70.7.14. I do have it connected to Bluetooth as well as my Wi-Fi network.

Is there a way or link to manually update the firmware?

Thank you in advance!

@ThomasW   I apologize if I am misreading your post.  Fitbit is constantly sending out firmware updates to newly activated devices -- it looks like your device has the firmware from when it was manufactured.  Newly activated devices typically get updates within 24-48 hours of activation.  During this time, your app will say that your device is up to date.  If you just activated your Versa 2, you should get the updates you need soon.  And there is nothing you can do to get it faster.

I am also moving your post to the Other Versa Smartwatch forum, a better fit for your question.

HI @ThomasW - this seems like a common setup problem with the new watch which failed to do it correctly.

As it is a new watch you can chat via the Fitbit App, click profile photo, Help & Support, Contact Customer Support, they may take you through a factory reset which will give you the chance to get the new firmware immediately.

It should be noted that an SpO2 clock face will only show the one reading taken over night for the entire day, as it doesn't do on the spot SpO2, and so another clock face during the day may be worth considering, you can look in the gallery.

Mine is over a year old and won’t update. Third one I had, other 2 stopped working after warranty ran out. Constant problems of not charging or being able to update/sync. I even deleted the app and reinstalled and had no luck.  No one seems to have any answers to fix!!!
