I received a Fitbit versa 2 as a Christmas present. What is the slit that's right next to where the cable comes out from for? It's big enough so that the cable does fit in it, If you go higher up on the cable to attach it. The only thing I can think of is that you put the cable through the slit up by the USB part so that while charging it sits upright. I noticed the second I did this with my watch on the charger it showed a charging cable emoji on my watch face, indicating it was charging. Is this what it's for? 

If anyone knows why it's there & what it's for, please let me know, or have I solved the riddle? Not knowing is a BIG pet peeve of mine.

Hi @Shanlecon1 - The watch sits in the cradle and you merely plug the USB into the power source. As shown in this link

How do I charge my Fitbit device?

The slit may help feed the wire out so it sits upright but it isn't as practical as the Versa charger of the same design where the wire comes out the back.
