New Versa 2 won't pair to my phone

I just received my Versa 2 and I am having all kinds of problems pairing it to my phone. I get the following scenarios;

1)When I started the pairing procedure, it said the watch was found and was connecting. After several minutes it said try again. I tried this several times with the same result. I uninstalled the app, shutdown the watch, shutdown Bluetooth and restarted it with no luck.

2) Tried to pair and I got a code(7658), Message was " Connecting, Sorry the setup is taking longer than usual. Please be patient. We're on it".

Very frustrated with this new watch. Sent error report to Fitbit when app crashed. Please fix or its going back.
