New Versa 2 won't receive notifications from my iPhone

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

So, I have spent hours troubleshooting why my new Versa 2 won't show notifications or messages from my iPhone.  I have the iPhone 11, and I've already tried all the troubleshooting steps on the Fitbit app.  Can anyone help me out?  I have no idea why this is so difficult to get to work.

After about 3 hours of going through the steps over and over again, we
figured out that there was one setting that wasn't described in the
tutorials that needed to be turned on. It works now, but it takes a very
long time for any data to show up on my phone, even after syncing it
multiple times.

Also, the Strava app will not work. I've logged into my account within the
Fitbit app, synced the fitbit multiple times, and when I go to the Strava
app on my fitbit watch, it still says "go to Strava settings on your Fitbit
mobile app to long in". I've done this multiple times alread, and I'm
about fed up with this watch! Please explain to me why I'm having so many
problems with this brand new FitBit Versa 2 watch, or at least explain to
me how I am supposed to get the Strava app to work?!

Can you please share the steps you tried that made it finally start working? I just got my brand new Versa 2, and zero notifications are working. I have tried every troubleshooting suggestion on every Fitbit forum I’ve read, still nothing...

After I followed the steps on the tutorials over and over again, I found there was one setting that I did not have turned on that kept notifications from going to my fitbit.  On your iPhone, go to settings, then notifications, and within the Fitbit notification, make sure all (3) Alerts styles are checked.  This would be "Lock Screen", "Notification Center", and "Banners" all need to be checked.  After doing this, notifications started to work.  But, what I still need help with from Fitbit is that I'm still not able to use the Spotify app on my Fitbit watch.  Everything is synced, bluetooth is on, all other apps on my phone work, but Spotify.  I've logged out and back in on my iPhone in the Fitbit app, synced again, and still doesn't work.  I've had nothing but problems with this watch.  I'm ready to return it and get something else if it doesn't start working as it should be.

Thank you! I checked mine and all three were already checked, but still not working unfortunately... I agree, quite disappointed. Hopefully your other issue gets resolved!
