New Versa 3 gets all notifications except text messages

I have done all the troubleshooting with the phone and the device but I can not receive text messages on the Versa. I do get calendar alerts, Ring camera alerts, etc. just no text messages. This is one reason I purchased it… very frustrating.

in the app,  under versa 3 ,    that page that has the 6 tiles,  down below there is notifications...  go there to see if you have text active.. 

also if your on IOS i am not sure.. sorry i only know Android interface

Thanks so much. I did check and all notifications are green and turned on including text messaging. I have an Apple 11 phone.

ok.. bummer.. have you ever had working? or just today fail?

also there is another area to check.. 

go to account page..  

under a big list of subs  - settings,activity, app settings , help and support legal,  just under legal is Notifications 

there is a Notifications <-- click here.. maybe it is it?

I have the same exact issue!  I can receive other notifications but not text. It worked when I first got my Versa 3 a couple of weeks ago. It stopped, I troubleshooted it, it worked for a couple of days and stopped again. Still receive other notifications but not text. UGH. So frustrating!  Can Fitbit fix this problem?  There are soooo many complaining about same issue!!!

Yes very frustrating. I had a Charge before this and it stopped too! Fitbit needs to find the answer.

Mine doesn’t work either since the day I got it!!! I trouble shooted various times, have gone through all the settings and nothing gives. I have no problems receiving calls, calendar notifications and reminders. It’s so frustrating.. I thought it was cuz I haven’t update to the latest IOS version in some time on my iPhone 8 but doesn’t seem to be that way.

Same here!!!!! I just had my versa3 2 weeks ago
Everything went fine
I have been receiving notifications from whatsapp and Facebook and all other social media apps on the watch thru bluetooth connection with my iphone 11
Suddenly yesterday notifications from whatsapp and Facebook in specifically stopped with no reason
I tried every recommendation I read over the fitbit community Forums and nothing helps
I brought my versa from amazon Egypt
I am so pissed off and I really want to know why this suddenly happened
Any clue?

I used to get messages all the time when I first got the Versa 3 but the watch suddenly stopped getting messages and email. It gets calendar and alerts OK.
