New Versa 3 has one problem after the other

I have been a happy Fitbit member for 10 years and have had several different devices and also have Fitbit premium.  I bought a Versa 3 on 2/25/23 at Kohls because my Charge 3 died that day - obviously I should have done my homework, because Versa 3 isn't even mentioned as one of their devices on the website.  Within 3 weeks it would glitch and show the correct steps and then it would blink and show 3,000 less steps.  I went on a 4 mile walk and it showed 0.8 miles.  Spoke to the support center and they said to reset it and every day they had something new for me to do, along with a lot of pictures proving it.  Then it didn't track sleep - support center - "reset it and put it on sensitive".  Now the battery life lasts 1 day - 100% at 11pm and 64% the next morning.  I've reset it 4 times in the past month.  Now I don't trust the information I'm receiving from it.  The support center has been less than helpful.  I'm so disappointed and just want a device that I can trust.  I thought about going to an Apple Watch, but the battery life was listed as 18 hours (which is almost what I'm at now) and I like what Fitbit Premium offers. Plus, I'm preparing for a marathon and Fitbit has not let me down until now.  I'm at a loss.  Do I give up on Fitbit?

Hi @lfleming295  - as you have premium you may have snore detection on (sleep tile configuration) and along with the SpO2 tracker app installed it can use upto 4 days per charge of the battery life, so you will only get 2 days per charge.

They removed the Versa 3 from the website to promote the newer watches which cost more but the Versa 3 is still a valid watch. The Versa 4 doesn't have some of the features of the Versa 3 which is probably the better choice.

It may be that the watch is faulty in which case it can be replaced under warranty.

It may be necessary to restart it occasionally but it it shouldn't be necessary to perform a factory reset on it, certainly not on a regular basis.

Thank you for your help.  You were right about the snore detection and turning that off has greatly improved the battery.  As for the removing Versa 3 to promote Versa 4, I would agree with you if they had removed Versa 2 as well.  I'm still frustrated that they won't let me replace it under warranty, but I will continue to try to use it.

I think they want use to buy a Google watch
I’ve tried customer support and received no good help. Now I get many emails from them every day about all of the problems they are having. Good luck 👍

If you bough it at Kohl's they'll exchange or let you return it no questions asked. Kohl's has an excellent exchange/return policy. I've been a Kohl's card holder for @15 yrs.

Really?  That is great news!  I assumed I had to go to Fitbit.  I will try it.  Thank you!
