I got a new Versa 3 yesterday. Setup was quick and easy. I chose the clock face for SpO2 data but it just displays --% and the app tells me to add the clock face to see recorded data on my wrist and in the app. And when I go to health metrics and look at skin temp it says "no recent data" "update fitbit device to latest firmware & wear it to sleep." Firmware version is 36.128.4.17 and I wore it to sleep last night.
What's the deal? My Versa 2 is only a year old and these additional features are the only reason I upgraded. 😞

Hi there @CaliBri, welcome to the Community Forums. Thanks for sharing the details of the issue with your Versa 3. We acknowledge the limitation we have on our part particularly on what you have experienced.
Please note that you need to wear your Versa 3 for three days before you start seeing values.
Factors that may cause skin temperature to vary nightly include changes in room temperature, bedding, circadian rhythm, menstrual cycle, or the potential onset of fever.
Note: Significant changes in ambient temperature may negatively impact skin temperature tracking. For more information see, How can Fitbit help me track my temperature?
Regarding SpO2, keep the following in mind to make sure your Fitbit device successfully measures your SpO2 values:
Turning off any clock face permissions can cause the clock face to stop functioning. To check these settings:
Your Fitbit device must be able to consistently track your SpO2 data:
Wear your device slightly higher on your wrist.
Make sure your device is in contact with your skin.
Your device should be snug but not constricting.
Tattooed skin can impact the accuracy of the red and infrared sensors on your Fitbit device.
For more information about SpO2, see: How do I track blood oxygen saturation (SpO2) with my Fitbit device?
Let me know how it goes.

Hi @JoN816, welcome on board. Thanks for sharing the details about your issue.
Your sleep stages data helps you track your patterns and notice variations. If you have any concerns about your sleep health we recommend sharing the information with your doctor.
There are several steps you can take to increase your chances for getting a good night’s sleep. The National Sleep Foundation suggests sticking to a sleep schedule, avoiding naps in the afternoon, practicing a relaxing bedtime routine, and exercising daily among other recommendations.
Additionally, Fitbit offers several tools to help you sleep better. You can set a sleep schedule in the Fitbit app to help you maintain a more consistent pattern of sleep. You can also learn about your sleep habits through sleep insights and set a bedtime reminder in the Fitbit app to help you wind down for sleep each night. For more information, see How do I track my sleep with my Fitbit device?
For more information on sleep stages, see our blog posts REM, Light, Deep: How Much of Each Stage of Sleep Are You Getting? and Your Heart Rate Is the Key to Smarter Sleep Stages. Here’s Why.

Did the tracking start working? I am having the same issues but haven't worn it for three nights with the spo2 downloaded so I am curious if it will work after the wait

I have the same firmware version as OP and I've worn my Versa 3 every night since I received it on Jan 10.
In the Fitbit app, I can see 2 data points each for Breathing rate and Heart rate variability, 5 data points for Sp02 and 6 for Resting heart rate - but the Skin temperature chart says "No Recent Data Update Fitbit device...."
Is there an update or can you think of another reason why skin temp isn't showing up when all other health metrics are?

Well the skin temp data was here this morning when I woke up, so for whatever reason it took 6 days to start tracking. Hopefully it'll keep on working! 😎

First night and thought my fit bit was defective. I will have to wait and see I guess.

If you go through the Learn More sections in Health Metrics, it says that the device needs at least 3 days of use before some of the readings will show up. You also have to wait until the app has finished analyzing your sleep before some of the numbers show up for last night.
For me, resting heart rate (RHR) showed up after 1 night; Sp02 after 2; HRV & BR showed up after 4 nights and skin temp finally after 6. Once it finally got started it's been recording everything like it's supposed to.

My Versa 3 seems to have issues recording my O2 every night for some reason. It's now been 7 days without a reading, but everything else is reading fine. What's up with the O2 tracker? It's one of the more important features that I need since my O2 seems to drop when I'm having allergy/sinus issues.
