New Versa 3 won't update

I’ve recently been gifted a versa 3 and when I got to setting it up everything was just fine until it reached the update.

it keeps writing downloading but it is frozen on 5%. It’s constantly failing and I’m quite literally miserable.

can anyone help me out?

HI @Eve-buckley - the update is done over the wifi. Make sure you have connected to a 2.4 gHz wifi signal, and that your watch and phone are near the router to give it the best signal.

Although not confirmed it is possible you may have problems if the phone has a VPN connection or has security software blocking full access to Fitbit.

It is always good to restart both the phone and the watch if there are problems and try again.
