New Versa Fitbit doesn’t hold a charge

Can anyone tell me what to do to make this watch/device go longer than 24 hours without needing a charge? Thanks

Please try the tips that are listed in this help article in order to improve the batter life of your watch. After this, monitor the battery's behavior and see if the issue gets fixed.

Have tried every tip, spoke with customer service and now the phone looses its charge after 3 hours. As it was a Christmas gift I will box it back up with the gift receipt and return it☹️
