Hi Fitbit community! This is my first time here so be nice 🙂
Just bought my new Versa yesterday and today I opened it and set it up. After I set it up, in my Fitbit application I saw a very big history of calories (I had patience to scroll only 'till 2009, but I think is way more). Even when i put the watch to charge it kept recording calories. How can I reset all the data logged? Has anyone faced this situation?Another problem that I encountered was that when i took the watch off the charger it simply blocked with the fitbit logo and stayed like that until i pressed the 3 buttons all together. I thought my watch is faulty and wanted to return it.

It's not that you have a big history, it's just if you look at any date in the past then fitbit can calculate what your total BMR calories were for that day based on your profile. It's best to just ignore that data.

@crisalexia first of all, when did you create your Fitbit account and your profile? If you have created it years back, you would be able to see the calories now. Even if you did not have a Fitbit device linked with your account. This happens because the calories burned registered by Fitbit are a sum of your active calories and rest calories (i.e. BMR). Once you input your data into your profile (sex, age, weight, height), Fitbit is able to estimate your BMR calories. These calories are then proportionally distributed throughout the day. That's why you see calories in your tracker (and in the app) for example after you wake up, even though you did not perform any activity. You can read more here.
