I have a brand new Versa that does absolutely nothing except show a Fitbit logo when it is in the charger. When I take it out of the charger it does not come alive when I press a button, it keeps showing the logo. The logo disappears when I do a 2 or 3 button reset after which the screen goes black. Only after putting it back in the charger it displays the logo again (no messages, text or other indicators). I have left it in the charger overnight a couple of times.
When I leave it out of the charger then eventually after some hours the battery runs out. When I push a button an empty battery / 0% message is shown. But when I put it back in the charger it goes back to the non-responding Fitbit logo.
I tried holding the 2 and 3 buttons for well over 5 minutes until my fingers hurt but that doesnt do anthing either.
I already spent way way way too many hours googling, reading and trying solutions), help would be appreciated.

Just a quick update about the solution: this is not an issue that could be fixed with a smart trick.
Fitbit support acknowledged that my Versa was broken and asked me to ship it back so it can be replaced.
My faulty watch was delivered at the warehouse over a week ago but then the fine Fitbit folks there seem to have lost it and haven't shipped me a replacement in return yet. But that's a different issue.

Thanks for your response Wendy.
But I tried all your suggestions before. I have had a Charge 2 for 2 years and am familiar with the software and procedures.
First thing I did last week was try to connect the app to the Versa. But the app will not find it , whatever I do. I tried on my Android phone as well as my iPad.
Over the last few days I also spent many hours on this forum searching for solutions and testing them out. Nothing has helped to fix the issue.
To clarify a bit more: the watch *only* shows the naked logo. No battery inidicator, no message that tells me to install the app, nothing. Only the blue dotted diamond.
And since unboxing it has only acted as I described before. I am pretty sure it is a DOA but I havent heard back from Fitbit support after submitting the issue a couple of days ago. So I was hoping someone had a secret trick that I havent found in my hours in this forum so far.
