New Versa, weather for current location broken?

I've done everything I know to get the current location weather to work to no avail. Restarted watch and phone, deleted app data/cache, turned off location permission and turned it back on, added random cities to weather which work fine but current location will not. My fitbit app is up to date and after manually adding a city or two, when I delete them from the app gallery settings in the fitbit app and the Versa syncs again, the cities are still showing on my Versa. Interestingly enough, the clock face nothing special is showing the temperature for somewhere (current location I presume). Does anyone have any advice on how to get it to work? It's driving me nuts. Thanks in advance.

Hmm... I know my Versa and Fitbit app has to be on and synced. It takes awhile for the weather to sync and show the current weather. For myself, if I have the weather app open but my phone off with Bluetooth and location on, it seems to not sync and show a message to open the Fitbit app to sync which sucks because I would like the weather app on the versa to sync without always opening the app on my phone. So every time I want an updated weather forecast I have to open my Fitbit app and sync it and wait for the updated forecast. Hope that helps.
