New Versa won't turn on

Hi, I received a new versa on Monday brought with a discount as my current Fitbit cracked while charging. The new versa will not turn on. Nothing works. I've been onto Fitbit support and initially wanted me to send it back at my expense, then said they would sent me a pre pains envelope. Didn't hear back to rang again and an email was to be sent with details. Nothing. So rang again yesterday, email was to be sent straight away. Nothing again. What is happening? Do they have so many faculty products they are running behind on dealing with them? How is this a way to run a business?
