New Versa won't update and shows the start screen

Just got a new versa, have the fitbit app on my Samsung Galaxy 9 plus, but it wont update the versa and the versa is only showing the screen with the logo. How do I get started when it won't update?

Getting ready to send it back, please help. It refuses to update so I how I use it when I cannot get past that first screen?

I appreciate your participation in the Forums and sharing that your new Fitbit Versa won't update and is only showing the screen with the logo. I am sorry that you are going through this situation, I totally understand how you are feeling.
