We have 2 brand New Versas, Neither of which would do the initial update over our satellite internet. We finally got one to update by using an iPhone as a hot spot in cell coverage as the wifi connection. Has anyone experienced this trouble updating over satellite? Is there a remedy?

Does your router meet the required protocols?
Versa can connect to open, WEP, WPA personal, and WPA2 personal Wi-Fi networks. Your watch won't connect to 5GHz, WPA enterprise, or public Wi-Fi networks that require logins, subscriptions, or profiles. If you see fields for a username or domain when connecting to the Wi-Fi network on a computer, the network isn't supported.

Yes it does meet those protocols. Using WPA2 authentication. The issue isn’t whether the Versa connects to and is authenticated on my network, it’s that once it’s connected it stalls at 5% trying to download the update. I let it run overnight.
And as I said in my original post, I’m connected to the outside world via satellite.
As an update, I was able to download and install the update using Bluetooth.
