New to Fitbit. Trying to track exercise

I'm new to Fitbit Versa. I wore it to Orange theory today. However it appears only 27 minutes if the 55 minutes work out were logged. And of those 27 minutes, it was logged under running instead of treadmill. I have a feeling maybe I setup auto-recognize exercise incorrectly but have no idea how correct it. I tried via day board and it looks like the preset exercise activities are already set as auto-recognize and i changed those to 10 minutes. On the Fitbit versa itself, i went into individual exercise (running, treadmill, interval, and workout) and ensure the Always-onscreen is set as On. However what would the function do since I don't see anything on the fitbit? Do I have to go into individual type of exercise and push start every single time? That's a pain since owner theory is a combo of treadmill and weights... Thanks for all inputs

Hi, @FionaTD! Auto-recognizing things like lifting is very difficult for the Fitbit. Your best bet is probably just to start an exercise at the beginning of the time and continue it throughout. Tracking an exercise doesn't change the calorie burn of the activity, it just allows you to see it.
