Since 2017, I have bought the first Fitbit product . The disadvantage is that once the watch- band is worn out, it cannot be replaced. Then I used the second product, ionic.Virtual card is available and used fitbit -pay smoothly but cannot automatically add money to the card,
After adding a credit card & ipass card (all-in-one type), the fitbit- pay was always abnormal. Moreover, the charging device is not well designed , the contact of charging pin and copper metal plate went worse , therefore is unable to charge if not rubbing off the copper oxidizing film after several days . This year I have been using the third product versa 2, I'm glad everything is normal (in fact, I usually only use synchronize steps, heartbeat, sleep records, fitbit-pay).
(1) Since I used the versa2 on May 17, it has been very smooth (including synchronized steps, heartbeat, sleep- records, fitbit-pay), but on 17th,September, I was wearing this watch outdoor, and fitbit -APP of the mobile phone was ON.The display of the watch-face disappeared, instead , appeared the error-message '"data not cleared, sync & try again"which I guess to remind user resetting the watch to the original factory settings . This day is the beginning of a nightmare. I always have to reset it before I can see the watch face (because the watch- face is gone, the display needs to be downloaded again) .
(2) It seems that I am not the only one who got the problem. In the past few days in the Internet, I have seen some people in Hong Kong claiming that the new firmware has a problem. https://unwire.hk/2022/10/06/fitbit-versa-2-becoming-unusable-after-upgrade/life-tech/watch-wireless...
(3) My APP version and firmware version are the latest (I have seen that the update is successfully completed. , but there are always message asking the user to update the firmware and the smart device software. I keep trying update more than 10 times but in vain.
The worst thing is that my favorite fitbit- pay doesn't work anymore. "An error occurred when I click the fitbit- pay wallet to register versa2." I wondered, isn't data of my credit card& ipass- card ( all-in-one) stored in the app all the time?
(4) In this past days, every night, the display of watch-face disappeared error message saying that it must be re-downloaded. Furthermore, even basic synchronization is impossible. It takes a lot of time to reset each time.
(5)Under this quagmire, perhaps, I think that I have to buy a new mobile phone with android 8 at least to suit the new firmware and new app. Actually, I do spent more than 12000NT to buy a new one, however unfortunately , the problems found in my old smart phone are still there .

Hello Jerrylinhome. I am currently having the sensors in my Versa 2 shut down by this update. My issues started 5 days ago from this post. Don’t now if Fitbit will resolve this… waiting for now.
