No Gogogate notifications on Versa 2

All my app notifications seem to be working except one: Gogogate.  This is a garage door controller app that notifies me when my garage door opens or closes.  I've tried unchecking / re-checking the app in the Fitbit app notification settings. My phone is Android 9.  Since other app notifications are working fine, I'm not sure what to do.  Do some apps do notifications in a way that Fitbit doesn't catch?

Let me help you with your missing notifications and thank you for troubleshooting this issue. Try refreshing the link between your phone and your tracker: 

• Go to your phone's bluetooth settings and remove all devices listed there.
• Restart your phone and restart your device. 
• Check that no battery saving app/feature on your phone is affecting your Fitbit app.
• Also, if you are using an Android device, check that your app has the necessary permissions (settings > apps > Fitbit > permissions) and make sure bluetooth and location services (GPS) are on, also check the permissions for the other app.
