I am trying to get my new Versa 2 to show on my  laptop Windows 10 dashboard but the product drop down only has Versa. Any help on this?

I have been trying to do this for hours, but all advice (from forums and/or my devices) sends me in circles. Your advice says to use the Fitbit Connect app, instead of the Windows 10 app. But every time I try to set up the Fitbit connect app, when I get to "pair a new device" (or something similar to that), it doesn't even list the Versa or Versa 2! It looks like it is old software. But if I update to the Windows 10 app, it never connects with my Versa 2 (yes, they're both supposedly on the same Wi-Fi network!).

I have had Fitbits for over four years and I'm more tech-savvy than most, so I don't understand what I'm doing wrong. Are there updated discussions, instructions, or forums somewhere?

I did get it running (somewhat) on the Windows 10 app. I had to reinstall
a few times. Still was not good.

In the meantime I bought a new phone (android) and the app runs well. (No
more Windows app).

The only issue left are wild heart rate readings on the Versa 2 at the
beginning of any exercise session. So wild that they destroy the stats for
the session (others have documented the same issue). I fixed the problem.
I don't wear the Versa 2 when I exercise. I only wear it for the clock,
timers, alarms, weather, agenda and text notifications. I even bought a
new wrist band so that the watch looks good on my wrist. 😀

Good luck.
