No WiFi connection in my home network

Hi, I have my Versa for 3 days and I´ve made the set up via my school wifi. Now I´m home and I´m trying to set thing like music and weather and so on... And everytime I open an app on my watch there is written "no location information" regarding weather app and using Deezer there is "Wi-fi not found.. visit settings in mobile app". I´ve visited the app and wifi-settings both on mobile and computer but it´s not working, there is still loading circle. So i seems that I´m not able to manage networks. Could you help me somehow? Thanks

Hi there @MichaelaUlicka, welcome aboard to the Fitbit Community!

You are not able to connect your WiFi network of your home, since is not the one configured in your Fitbit Versa. In this case you need to add a new network.

For more help, please use the following help article: How do I add a Wi-Fi network to my Fitbit watch?

See you later and hope this helps.

My home wifi router does 5 and 2.4 bands. My 5 band is a hidden network and the Versa would not connect to it, but would connect to the 2.4.

It's great to see you around @justin..

Your Versa can connect to open, WEP, WPA personal, and WPA2 personal Wi-Fi networks. Your watch won’t connect to 5GHz, 802.11ac, WPA enterprise, or public Wi-Fi networks that require logins, subscriptions, or profiles.

For more information about this, I recommend taking a look at the article provided in @RobertoME's post (How do I connect my Fitbit watch to Wi-Fi?).

Let me know if you need anything else. Robot Happy

My home network has a 5GHz, 802.11ac router. Will there be a firmware update on Versa that allows me to connect to this, or have I just wasted $230 on a smart watch that can't connect to my home wifi, and therefore can't have music loaded onto it?

No smartwatch connects to 5Ghz due to current hardware limitations. Just turn on your 2.4Ghz band in your router settings. Every 5Ghz router has this ability. Make sure that band is 2.4Ghz b/g/n or g/n.
