I went for a bike ride and used Exercise, Bike.
It said connecting, but
It did not log mph, or distance, nor did I get any credit towards my steps.
Can that be fixed?

It has to vibrate and say connected for GPS stats to work, like speed and distance. If you clicked start while it was connecting, you usually won't get anything but heart rate, time of workout, and calories. Unless it happens to connect after you started. Mainly don't start unless it's connected, but good luck with that. 🤐
As for steps, cycling is not step based so you don't usually get a lot of steps while cycling unless your ride is bumpy. Fitbit will count bumps as steps while cycling, the same as it does while driving.

At one time, it did show the distance, speed, and heart rate.
I used to get more steps when cycling. Like at least double what I get now. Now, I get 1/4 the steps for cycling compared to walking the EXACT same route.
Cycling does NOT use 1/4 of the calories as walking.
Cycling also is easier on the joints, so is in effect a little healthier.
Just some observations and results of doing some research.
Take care.
