No longer receiving notifications from other apps including calls and texts

I’m on Versa 32.10.15, and randomly a few days ago I stopped receiving updates from other apps like texts and phone calls (iPhone).

I read through forums and tried different things mentioned but none have worked so far.

1. Notifications is on by holding button on Versa

2. Notifications is on in Fitbit app under Versa

3. Under phone settings, Fitbit has access to Bluetooth and other apps

4. No sound settings had changed on my phone but did try with sound all the way up, etc.

5. Tried with phone locked and unlocked, phone right next to Versa

6. Tried in WiFi and without

7. Versa is connected under Bluetooth, "forgot device” and reconnected

8. Unpaired from other devices (iPad)

None of those worked. What else should I try?

Update, after messing with a lot of settings, it is now solved.

I think it was due to the IOS 12 update. 

On iPhone 7:

Settings>Notifications>Messages>Banner Style>Persistent

Now my calls and messages work again.
