Hi Support,
I walk long distances of 30 - 50km, easily taking 5 - 9 hours.
Of course I use my Versa to track the hike. During the hike it gives me good information on distance walked, duration, etc.
After the hike I do a sync with the Fitbit app and I want to see of course all the details. What fails for longer hikes is showing me the map of the activity. Please see the screenshot: the spinning circle in the activity keeps spinning for ever, the circle next to the wifi symbol spins only a couple of seconds (I guess that means there is no more data coming from Fitbit). Pace, heartrate info, etc is still visible btw.
The example below is a hike of 7 hours, 40km. Shorter hikes are able to show the maps.
In the dashboard on Fitbit.com this same activity was only visible after a couple of retries, as it gives an ERROR the first tries.
I see this complaint in other posts, mainly about the Fitbit.com dashboard. And I see progress there as it has been worse in the past (only ERROR, never the map and the details).
On iOS it is still not OK.
Using latest iOS 12.1 and Fitbit app.
Loging out and in in the app does not do the trick.
Please investigate and fix this annoying problem please.

@mgums First of all, congratulations on being able to hike 30 km! 😊 I agree this must be an issue with amount of data to be processed and displayed. I think the only way is to Contact Customer Support directly to make them aware of this issue. Sorry I couldn't be more helpful.

I only got the answer from Support team that they are aware of the problem. Scrolling through this forum I see this is reported dor more than a year now.
Two days ago I hiked 48.5km, with a duration of 8:40.
Now even the dashboard on fitbit.com is not capable of showing the details and the map. The iOS app does not show the details either.
Please Fitbit, give this more priority, this is really really annoying!
