I have connected, disconnected, reset, synced, uninstalled, installed and prayed over this versa but no luck on getting text or call notification. This is my second versa. First had the same issue. Am I the only one with this. Also horrible sleep tracking 😣😣😣

I called Fitbit today at 10:54 am (EST) and spoke to a very nice customer
service representative about not receiving notifications for incoming calls
on my Versa. My phone is a Samsung S7 Edge with service provided by
Verizon. He patiently walked me through various things in the phone
settings and the Versa app settings in an attempt to correct the problem.
After a lengthy period of time of going through the settings and unpairing
most of the paired Bluetooth devices on my phone, except Versa, and then
restarting the Versa, the incoming call notification still did not work.
The representative said he would discuss the problem and the steps taken to
correct the problem with someone else and call me back, which he did within
5 to 10 minutes. He suggested to reset the Versa to the factory settings. I
did as he instructed and the representative gave me a case number to call
if I needed help following the reset. Well, after the reset, customizing my
Versa back to the way it was before the reset and pairing the devices I
had unpaired, I called Fitbit at 2:50 pm (EST) to let them know I still
could not receive incoming call notifications. I do receive notification of
missed calls and text messages. The second representative was just as nice,
patient and cordial as the first representative. I informed her of my case
number and kindly stated I was not looking for any help that I just wanted
to request that Fitbit look into the problem. She stated that other
notifications problems have been identified and are being addressed, but
the problem I am having has not been reported. She stated she would inform
someone of the problem. Two very nice representatives, 5 hours of time and
I hit a brick wall.
If you don't receive a notification for incoming calls, I suggest calling
Fitbit (877-623-4997) and report this to them so they will know this is a
problem that can't be fixed by the Versa owner.

I used theirbchat and hit a wall with the autoreply to rext messages. I ended up figuring it out myself. I had to go intobtbe messenger app itself and reset tbe permissions to allow unknown sources. Then i redit the fitbit app permissions as well to allow everything and push notification tk the lock screen.
I enabled the same settings or similar ones for the messenger app and bluetooth profile.
This ended up working but still had the problem getting calls. I opened my phone app as if to make a call and at the top right i selected the options icon which looks like three horizontal bars. Then selected the settings and went through them all and enabled everything.
Also, i have develeoper mode enabled on my android and went in their and allowed unknown apps etc. This may have helped.
Now im on Android 8.0 on a Samsubg Galaxy S8.
I believe the O.S. version you have makes a difference on where you. You can also try removi g and re-installing the app and allowing all permissions.
I also did a force stop of the app and then reopened it and restarted my versa.
All my notifications now work and i can autoreply. It looks like its a permissions isue with the other apps which is why Fitbit cant seem to help. They probably only troubleshoot their app to a certain point.

I am facing the same issue.

Just bought the Versa a week back.

Wandering what should I do with it now as thats the most vital notification one will care for.

Did you get your issue resolved by any chance ?

Yes, my problem is resolved. However, it was resolved by replacing the S7
Edge with an S9+. I Broke the screen on my S7 and in a panic I paid the
balance off the S7 and for the next two years I will be paying for the S9+.
A very costly solution to the problem. I strongly suggest you contact
Fitbit customer service -
(877) 623-4997. They had just started to assist me when I broke the screen
on my phone. They were cooperative, friendly and willing to assist. Calls
and text messages I made to them received a quick response, but it does
take time and patience. The best of luck, I hope you receive a quick
solution to the problem. By the way, I receive notification for texts,
calls, missed calls, calendar and apps on the S9+ at this time.

I fixed it myself. I went through and enabled all the messaging push notifications in the text app on android as well as gave all permissions on the fitbit app and bluetooth.
Also went into the phone app as well and made sure everything was allowed. I posted what i did all over fitbit more or less so you should stumble upon it.
Also i have android 8 on a samsung galaxy s8. I made the changes and enabled everything i could think of and then re added my versa. Rebooted both my phone and watch and now i can reply nd set auto responses. Hope this helps.

I have posted several how tos on how i got mine to work on my Galaxy S8 but unsuccessful with iPhones and older Android OS devices.
My vera was sent in for repair over two months ago   after the contact eroded from my sweat and now has to be warranty replaced. The process has been somewhat frustrating due to how long it takes just to get me a new one. So for a while i have been out of the game as far as issues with the Versa and notifications/auto replies.
Im back on my Pebble Steel which FYI works fine with less frustrations. *Hint Hint Fitbit.

Anyways, the versa couldn't hold up for more than 4 or 5 months of minor workouts and daily wear before the contacts to charge it wore off.
So mg guess is that before the fix the messaging notification issues, people will have problems charging them. Just glad i kept my Pebble Steel around.
