I have connected, disconnected, reset, synced, uninstalled, installed and prayed over this versa but no luck on getting text or call notification. This is my second versa. First had the same issue. Am I the only one with this. Also horrible sleep tracking 😣😣😣

Have you gone into the app and made sure that notifications from your phone are enabled on the Versa?

Also,  be sure your phone is on the list of compatible devices, and that is not on silent or Do Not Disturb.

Ok.  Sometimes it takes a while for notifications to get to the Versa.  But if you're not getting any, it might be time to call customer support.

you are a Verizon Messages+ user and you do not have your phone in silent mode and are still not getting text notifications try this: open messages+. Click the menu button on the upper left hand side. Click customize. Click notifications. Click Importance and change it to High. This allows the text notification sound to actually come through. This also allowed me to then receive my text notification on my Fitbit. I tried turning my volume up and was still not receiving on my fitbit and also noticed I was getting no sound period. Found this in the settings. It also still sends notifications while in vibrate mode. I know this still doesn't help the silent issue but for those who couldn't receive it either way, I hope this helps!!!

Same issue here, shiny new Versa with really, really flaky notifications.

Versa + Samsung S8, fitbit app has all the notification settings ON and the phone has notifications ON.  Bluetooth is connected, as the phone has SmartLock which is working.

Make sure the notifications are turned on in the power tray. It is very well hidden and I was helped to find it by someone else here. Cured the notification issues but not the lack of call notification issue sadly.

They dropped the ball on this vera. I have a pebble steel that does auto text replies and all though its monochrome it seems more reliable than this. I made this my first Fitbit and dissapointed and probably will just go back to my Pebble and return this or give it to my kid to wear and probably destroy. I would of thought with Fitbit aquiring Pebble that they would learn a few things but nope. Simple text message and auto replies are the whole point of a smart watch. For quick replies on the road. If they are working on it, now would be a good time to update everyone and give us hope.

@SunsetRunner Make sure Bluetooth is on, on both the Versa and phone, and you are within 30ft. Also, make sure they are displayed on the lock screen (although they should already be):smileylol:

What type of phone do you have?

Yep done all that but still no call notifications. It's a S7 Edge.

I see the latest software update has a new call screen but haven't had a chance to see if it works. it has however screwed the notifications. I now receive them but unless you look at them immediately they disappear shortly after so not much use again.

I am having the same issue.  Spend 3 hours on the call with Fitbit then they told me because I use Verizon that it was an issue on their side with message+.  I called Verizon, spend an hour on the phone going through everything with them, for them to say, you can change to message because we do support fitbit and message + should work.  Not sure what to do at this point.

Check if proper Android permissions are granted such as allow fitbit Fitbit app to manage calls and text.

Check always vibrate box at the bottom of the versa notification app activity screen. I had to check that. Otherwise, call would only vibrate once.

I have a Fitbit Versa paired to a Samsung S7 Edge. I am not re- ceiving notification for incoming calls. However, I do receive notification for missed calls and text messages. I once received notification for incoming calls, but this is no longer the case. I have not made any setting changes that would have caused the failure to receive incoming call notifications. I have exhaustively read too many simple and complicated suggestions to resolve this problem. Being a neophyte to most things electronic, I am reluctant to follow some suggestions down a rabbit hole for fear of not being able to find myself out of the morass therefore creating a deeper problem or discovering my effort

did not lead to a solution to my original problem. I received incoming call notifications prior to the last Fitbit update. Are others experiencing this problem, is there a simple fix, or does this problem and solution belong to Fitbit?

I dont now or ever gotten phone call nottifications in real time. I always get the missed call after.
My guess is there is some push option we arent seeing or getting and its a matter of permissions. If i figjre it out, ill try to update this thread.

I had these problems and have read many posts. I feel it is a fitbit problem  My advice is a refund till they fix it  Then re buy without the risk of being left with something that doesn't work

Same problem here with s7 edge. Worked fine for 2 weeks...now nothing is coming through. Let me know if you find a solution and I'll do the same
