No notifications from phone

I have a fitbit versa, and a Huawei P30. Ive checked all the settings on both the phone and fitbit and nothing ever comes through. On the fitbit app in the notification settings it has a info bit at the top telling me to restart the phone, which I have done several times and it's still there.

Very frustrating to never get any notifications on the fitbit. I've had it over a year, and on two different phones and notifications has only worked a dozen times at best.

Hi @KathrynRodway when you have the app send a test notification, does it come through?

Have you checked the android settings? Especially turning battery management off for Fitbit.

What should I know about using the Fitbit app on my Android phone?

I have been experiencing the same problem- I've just discovered my Versa had Do Not Disturb enabled.

I am sure I did not enable it, and I am sure I have checked it is disabled (see below) so maybe a bug of some kind? Thought it might be worth checking for others.

Just had my first watch notification in 2 weeks or so - which is great. The hiatus has been rather disruptive as I had come to rely on smartwatch notifications.

I have an iPhone 10 and do not get any text alerts or email alerts. I have read how to correct it and have tried at least 5 times with no success.

I had the same issue with Timex' G300 which is why I bought the Versa2. My old Fitbit Charge2 was much better/easier to get text alerts and this is supposed to be better. Leaves  me wondering why I spent the money on this and who makes a smart watch that actually works as advertised.
