No notifications on Versa 2

I have had my Versa 2 since February of 2020 and nothing bad has been happening. Within the last few days, my watch has been in the constant loop of Fitbit logo, black screen, Fitbit logo, black screen, etc. I was able to fix it shortly by “restarting” my watch (holding the side button down for over 10 seconds). Today it was on the loop for about an hour and a half. I had to disconnect the watch from Bluetooth and from the app and reconnect it to both, being able to see that there was an update necessary. I was able to get the update, which is the good news. The bad news is, I can no longer swipe up, down, left, OR right to see any notifications or the gallery or any of my health stats. I do get notifications on the watch face, but I do not get the vibration or buzz from the Fitbit telling me there is something I need to look at. I have had this Fitbit for three years and nothing like this has happened. I have read other peoples posts where they said just about the same thing, and I have done all those solutions. Nothing has seemed to permanently work yet. I have gotten some temporary relief when I “restart” my watch four times in a row. But after that it seems to go back to the loop and I can’t get my notifications to come up properly. Is there anything that I can be done to fix this permanently? Or is this a Fitbit fried and I have to buy a new and upgraded one?
