No sleep score shown after manually logged the sleep

Just finished my third night of football experience.

For the first two nights, I have not logged the sleeps manually and there were sleep score shown for these two nights.

Then I followed the suggestion to set the sleep goal: notified the app when I was going to bed and notified again after I waked up. Then there was no sleep score shown for this third night.

You can use the edit command to change your football.

Manually logged sleep or sleep less that 3 hours should not show sleep stages.

I discovered the same thing but am wondering if there is any way to have it show sleep stages after the fact? I can't find an option to do it but there should be one. Why isn't that something it does even if we start a sleep log manually? I read it only starts logging sleep after it detects you've been asleep for an hour, which is why I started the manual log.

Hello @Maylou70 and welcome to the Help forums.  Your Fitbit uses complex algorithms to decide when you are awake and when you are asleep.  It's not just the fact that you stop moving, but changes in your breathing and heart rate variability that detect sleep.  Starting the sleep log manually overrides the information that is being collected by your Fitbit.  You can't create sleep stages after the fact, because you told your Fitbit to override the data it is collecting.  The sleep log on the app was designed for older trackers that that can't detect sleep.  Many are still in use.

Even though it takes an hour for your Fitbit to detect sleep, that previous hour's data is still in its immediate memory.  If your head hits the pillow at 10 PM, your sleep graph should start at 10 PM.
