No smart phone for Versa

We bought my dad a Versa for his birthday, but he only has a flip phone. The older models had a plugin for his laptop. Will he not be able to use it?

What computer does your dad have? He might need a dongle for an older Windows computer, but it could work.

You can set him up on any device to get him started. If you live close, you could set him up with your cell phone.

Let us know. It would be awesome to get your dad stepping!

Thank you! I actually live 1 house away! He has a tablet and a laptop. I will see what we can do there first or use my phone! I didnt know we could have 2 on 1 phone. 🙂

@MarciaChica   when you set your dad up on your phone, be sure to log out of your account and get your own Fitbit out of range. Set his up with his own email address and password. When he's finished syncing, log him out. Then you can get your Fitbit back on and log back on. You can share the phone to sync and he can view his progress on the tablet or laptop.

The tablet should work if the laptop doesn't.  It would be easier than both of you using your phone.  The Phone feature is not what is important for the Fitbit to connect, it is the bluetooth and wifi.
