No smart scale but log history shows entries for Lean vs Fat and BMI- How accurate is this?

Hello first time posting- I usually search through the site hoping my question was asked and answered before but I haven't seen this.
I have had a versa since November and a flex two prior to that. I noticed when checking the weight that I've lost, in the "Lean vs Fat" graph there's calculations of supposedly the amount of both the lean and fat I've lost. I'm curious how accurate this is and how it's being calculated? I haven't seen anything on the app or mobile site that really explains it so any information would be appreciated!

@Denni_Jay I'm assuming at some point you logged your weight. In theory, one does not need to log body fat %, as it can be calculated from BMI. BMI can be calculated based on the inputted weight and other info from your profile. Of course, this kind of estimations are very inaccurate. To make it slightly more accurate, you would need extra body measurements.

@Denni_Jay yes. Use the second link to calculate your body fat (you will have to measure your body), which you can later input along with your weight. This would be more accurate than BMI 'guesstimation', especially for females. In the longer run, I would recommend getting a scale. I do have Aria and really like it. 😊
