No sync since changed wifi router - stuck in setup

My versa was working fine until it stopped syncing over Bluetooth (last synced 20th sept). I have a new wifi router and now the watch won't talk to the app at all. I removed it and tried to set it up again fresh but I just get stuck in 'connecting' after entering the code that appears on the watch. It appears in the list of bluetooth devices. It's plugged into the charger.

The Fitbit devices only connect to 2.4Ghz. Is your new router 5Ghz?
