Not able to change Exercise cues on the website

When I run, even though I have the notifications set to alert me every 1 mile, with voice cues, the watch doesn't do that at all.  What it does do is alert me EVERY time my heart rate changes level... which is not helpful when I'm running.

When I go into the website to change it, which is what I've read needs to happen, the screen doesn't allow me to edit it, even though it has an edit button.  I click the edit button and nothing happens.  The whole point of me having this watch is so that I don't have to carry my phone with me when running, so I will get the verbal cues on my mileage and pace during the run.  With it this way, I'm constantly being distracted because it vibrates so often so I'm drawn to look and then I just see it's a change in heart rate.  And there is no vibration or verbal cue at the mile marker.  Please help.

Hello @jgadwah and welcome to the Help forum.  There is an error on that web page.  That option shouldn't be there.  I notified Fitbit about this error.  The Versa 3 exercise cues are vibration only and you set them on the device itself.  After you choose the Run shortcut, swipe up -- there is a tiny "^" at the bottom of the screen.  Under the Laps option, tap on the Auto count.  You can choose miles, kilometers, minutes or calories.  Make your choice.  I found an interesting choice that works -- I am in the US, so I use miles as my normal stat.  I could select km as my vibration cue, without having to change my account distance stat.  This might help someone who normally uses miles, but is training for a 5 or 10k.  The zone minute vibration setting is just above the laps setting.  Yes, toggle that off.  I think it is very annoying, too.  You need to adjust that for every exercise shortcut that you use.

Thanks LZeeW. That was helpful for me to remove the heart rate zone notifications. I have the Charge4. Similar to jgadwah, I am not getting notifications of my mileage or pace. Do you happen to know how to get to that setting with the Charge4? I don't see that as an option in my exercise menu.

Thanks!

Hello @Cngan92 and welcome to the Community.  I don't currently use a Charge 4.  But I think, emphasis on think, that you will find the Lap settings in your Exercise Shortcuts on the mobile app.  So if you go to Run and tap on that tile in the mobile app, you will find the Lap settings.  🤞
